In an effort to silence the truth about their illegal selling of baby body parts for profit, Planned Parenthood has filed a lawsuit naming Troy Newman, David Daleiden, the Center for Medical Progress, and several others as defendants. The lawsuit is in response to a series of investigative videos released by The Center for Medical Progress

This lawsuit is similar to one filed last August by the National Abortion Federation (NAF) in an attempt to prevent the public, prosecutors, legislators, and other government officials from gaining access to evidence of abortion providers admitting to criminal acts.

The Planned Parenthood lawsuit is another attempt to deprive the right of free speech of those who want to expose the illegal actions and other wrongs of the abortion industry.

The eleventh video release from The Center for Medical Progress in the ongoing Planned Parenthood baby parts scandal shows the abortion doctor for Planned Parenthood in Austin, TX, Dr. Amna Dermish, describing a partial-birth abortion procedure to terminate living, late-term fetuses which she hopes will yield intact fetal heads for brain harvesting.

The tea party nuts are at it again. Apparently it's now a crime to sell parts of aborted babies? Everybody knows when you need some extra cash you just donate blood, sell one of your kidneys to a Mexican drug cartel or rob a dumpster outside an abortion clinic. Do you really want to live in an America where you can't even legally have your child dismembered and make a profit?

Of course the right wingers decided to unfairly target Planned Parenthood when they investigated the selling of baby parts, just because Planned Parenthood happens to sell baby parts. Why would you choose to ask a Planned Parenthood employee questions about abortion? That's absurd. It's intolerant. It's racist.

You really can't blame Planned Parenthood anyway. It's the parents that are refusing to take their babies with them after they have them aborted. We don’t know that the top reason parents gave when asked why they chose to abort their child wasn’t, "to provide human organs for sale". And what if the abortionist said to the baby, “Hey, if you don’t want us to kill you and sell your body for parts just say so…” and the baby said nothing?

(Excerpt from an article by Kelly Clinger)

Wednesday is late term abortion day at Orlando Women’s Center (the clinic where I had my abortions 12 years ago). When I first started visiting the sidewalks of abortion clinics to pray and minister, I had NO idea that late term abortions were even legal. I remember hearing about the Partial Birth Abortion Ban in 2007 and assumed (like most) that this stopped abortions late in a woman’s pregnancy.

Shock can’t even begin to describe my feeling when I first counseled on late term day. “These girls are SO pregnant”, I kept thinking to myself. Of course that’s silly since there’s no such thing as being a “little pregnant”, but I couldn’t get over the size of their beautiful bellies so full of LIFE. These women have felt their babies kick. Many of them even know the sex of the child and this is sometimes the reason for the abortion. These girls have carried these babies for 6 months. They are more than halfway done!

I just cried and cried. I couldn’t even speak at first. Not only is the size of their bellies overwhelming but the hardness of their hearts is just as shocking. I began to think about family members, friends, and co-workers of these girls who know they are pregnant. Is our society so lacking of accountability that they will return to their lives and no one will think this is a problem?

<![CDATA[How does "Plan B" work?]]>Sun, 10 Nov 2013 21:58:15 GMThttp://www.whatwesave.com/blog/how-does-plan-b-workHow does Plan B (levonorgestrel) work? The Population Research Institute has a new video which aims to explain it. The video uses animation to illustrate how the drug affects ovulation, conception, and implantation.

Characters on camels represent the sperm and their journey, while a lumbering elephant carrying a round little figure represents the female egg and its journey. Palaces, dust storms, and an Oregon Trail reference depict how the drug works.

The video does a pretty good job of simplifying everything and explaining how Plan B works, but I don't understand why it's not in color. It might seem minor, but if you're going to go to so effort to create and promote something, why not add a little more interest?

Kermit Gosnell has been convicted of killing three babies and may be sentenced to death.

(From CNN) "Monday's first-degree murder conviction means Gosnell, who is not a board-certified obstetrician or gynecologist, could be sentenced to death.

Gosnell also was accused in the death of Karnamaya Mongar, 41, who died of an anesthetic overdose during a second-trimester abortion at his West Philadelphia clinic. In that case, the jury found him guilty of involuntary manslaughter.

Gosnell was also found guilty of 21 counts of abortion of the unborn, 24 weeks or older."

<![CDATA[Wait, so it is a human being? But only for Ariel Castro?]]>Sat, 11 May 2013 15:33:40 GMThttp://www.whatwesave.com/blog/wait-so-it-is-a-human-being-but-only-for-ariel-castroPictureAriel Castro
Ariel Castro might face the death penalty for causing five miscarriages by punching one of his captives in the stomach whenever she became pregnant. In Ohio this is legally considered murder, but if it happens at Planned Parenthood and somebody pays for it, then it's fine.

Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Timothy McGinty said, "The death penalty is applicable under Ohio law for the "most depraved criminals who commit aggravated murder during the course of a kidnapping."

So we are being told that a fetus is both a human being and not a human being, at the same point in time. It is a life and it is also not a life, at the same time. It is a complete and obvious contradiction, but the courts ignore it. Shouldn't abortionists be put on trial and face the same penalty for killing an unborn baby as Ariel Castro is now facing? After all, they're done it many more times than Mr. Castro.
